It probably formed from several hunks of rock that coalesced together in a common orbit around the sun. The water probably came from icy comets and meteors.

Obviously it took a while. Longer than I can imagine anyway.

The hydrogen that precipitated out after the big bang was drawn together by gravity into stars. The stars fused the hydrogen into heavier elements. When the stars exploded, the material was ejected into space. Later, gravity again pulled some of the material together. That ball of material is now this world.

there is enough scientific proof and theory about how this world came to be. the big bang theory is supposed to contain all the details. there were many other facts that were determined to provide more authentication to the big bang theory for which 2 professors were given the nobel prize this year.

The bible teaches in the book of John that Jesus spoke the world and everything in it into existence. I trust and believe in that.

God was getting bored of being master & almighty of just space, so He created Jesus earth and life on it so we could choose to be like Him. To live & learn, to find the good in things to learn true love so we could connect with His true unconditional love for us. '
