probably the same amout it depends on where you are comming from and what train company you are using. it would probably work out cheaper to get a cheap day return. this is when u travel after 9.30 am or 10 am (some start at diffrent times). but yeah to agree with nert61 train tickets are a bloody rip off lol.

Well, it depends on where you're travelling to, so if you're going to Bristol, it'll be cheaper than going to Glasgow or Edinburgh! Nice question though!!!
