I live in western NY and i am looking for an online school that is fairly inexpensive or state funded.

Try searching for "virtual academies" or "virtual schools" and then search by state. You can also look for "online charter schools". We use www.k12.com - they have programs in several states (state funded) from K-8th grade, I believe. They may also have high school programs in some states, but I'm not sure about that.

It's an OKAY school, and i don't think it costs too much.
