Boy, 9 lbs. 12 oz

Girl, 8 lbs. 14 oz

Boy, 10 lbs 2 oz

Girl, 8 lbs 6 oz.

With the first three I had an epidural and an episiotomy. With my youngest, I had no epidural and no episiotomy, but I tore a bit. Also with my youngest, I had gone through child birthing classes and my (wonderful, incredible, loving, amazing) husband was by my side holding my hand and telling me to breathe. The latest birth was the most awesome experience!

I got to feel everything. Yes, the pain was intense, but it was all worth it. The pain was also over as soon as I left the delivery room. There was discomfort afterwards, but nothing like when I had the epidurals. For about a year after each birth with the epidurals, I had severe pain at the site of the catheter. It would feel like a migraine, but in my spine. It was horrible. Unless it's medically proven to be necessary, I won't have another epidural. It's just not worth it, and I feel like I was left out of parts of those births where I did have the epidurals.

My son was 9lb 15 1/2 oz and was an emergency c-section. Not too big, just in wrong position. Didn't realise I was in labour. Went to hospital to put my mind at rest because I was constipated and restless, but not in pain - was already 5cm dilated by time I got there! Pain started as soon as I realsed i was in labour - tried a tens machine, but it broke so had a lovely, huge, deep, hot bath. Then gas and air, then diamorphine. Asked for epidural after that but anesthaetist forgot and went home :-(. After that there was no pain relief until spinal anasthetic for c-section. 12 hours total from going to hospital until son born.

Daughter was 9lb 10oz and was natural delivery with gas and air and epidural (had to be given twice as first time only worked down right hand side) Total of 6 hours from going to hospital until delivery and again was 5cm dilated by time I reached.

Third baby due end of December and I am already big for my dates so looks like being another 9 or 10 pounder!

My first was 8.1 oz at 6 weeks early, 36 hours in labor. I was 16 and had gestational diabetes, and toxemia. I tore, and had an epidural that only numbed one leg for two days. I hemorrhaged just after her birth. As soon as they sent her home she started to have seizures non stop and the weight started to go down, she was allergic to every thing and ended up about 5 lbs by the time they "fixed" her problems. ( She still has problems 12 years later)
My second child was 4 weeks early, I had placenta previa, and woke to a blood soaked bed. By the time I got to the hospital every thing went so fast I didn't have time to push or any thing my body delivered the placenta and him so fast it was like taking a huge breath of air and letting it all out at once. The room was spinning, and the Doctor was yelling and running in the room as my son came out. Percardia Not sure how to spell that, is what kept him alive during my pregnancy, the side affects where small, he is great now.
My third pregnancy was easy, 3 weeks early, water broke, didn't feel a thing. Sat in the hospital for a day and a half waiting for that darn baby to wake up and come meet his parents. Contractions didn't hurt, all natural child birth, then he started to crown at 8 cm and my labor stopped. The worst part of my pregnancy was the shots the evil nurse gave me in my back, they hurt more than the labor. I was lucky it was only about 15 min. of pain. He is a great child, still lazy and sleeps all the time.

my first was 10 pnd 5 ozs had a c section as I had placenta abruption (very scary) but I was only 18 and the doc reckoned I would have had to have a c section anyway,
second was 9 pnd 4oz normal delivery and 4 stitches.
third was 8 pnd 7. 6 weeks early normal delivery 3 stitchs very hard delivery as he was so early they didnot recommend I take any pain relief as this could affect his responses they told me he would have been well over 10 and a half pound if I had went full term,
fourth was 8 pnd and three weeks early had an epidural and his birth was a dream!!!!! 3 stitchs
Fifth was 6 pnd 2 oz had only gas and air and she was the guickest birth a few pushs and she was born no stitchs which was the best part.felt so good straight after her birth!!!
so all my babies weights got smaller when they are supposed to get bigger!!!!

My son was 8lbs 9.5oz. My labour was only about 3 hours from start to finish but then over an hour to put in all the stitches I needed. I have heard it said that the second labour will be shorter than the first. So if the second baby is going to be bigger and the labour faster.... what is that going to do to me?!?!?! OUCH!!!

I only have one baby, and he was 8lb13oz. I also had a vauntose but they didn't give me an epiostomy they just let me tear. I had been pushing for nearly an hour and a half before they decided to intervene (I panicked when they said this because I thought they meant a C-section) and because it had gone on so long the epidural was starting to wear off so I actually felt him come out which was wonderful.

baby #1... 6 lb 8 oz 2 weeks early. my water broke on the way to the hospital and he was born less than 45 minutes after we got there.
baby #2... 4lbs 13 oz she was 4 weeks early. My mother gave me a ride to the hospital and my daughter was born before my mom finished parking the car. Total time in labor...less than 2 1/2 hours
baby #3...6 lbs 11 oz 2 1/2 weeks early. I was in the hospital for about 3 hours before he was finally born. Total time in labor for this one was about 7 hours and definitely the most painful.
I didn't have any drugs or anything with any of my 3 children.

Ist baby was 10lbs 5 oz.....21 1/2 inches long
2nd baby was 10 lbs 2oz....21 1/2 inches long

Both boys were a natural delivery with an epiostomy.
No drugs and not because I wanted to be all natural....it was just way to fast. It was fast and painful but honestly worth it but then again you are a mom....you know that!

My first was 8/6 and tried vantous and then had c-section. She swallowed all that black stuff and had 2 collasped lungs after 9 hours of labour. She was on intensive special care for a week and is fine.

My second was 7/12 - born by elective c-section (couldn't go through all that worry again!) He is a little tinker but I love them both to bits.
