Imrana a muslim woman in Indiawas raped by her 60 year old perverted father-in-law and the ulema decreed that now she cannot be with her husband and is now haram to him since she had committed zina with her father-in-law. Now she cann't be with her husband! What kinda muslim law is this? The govt supports this woman and the rapist has been arrested but she's a muslim and the muslim ulema say her marriage now is haram forever! How did the woman commit zina if she was raped?

It's clear from all the muslims answers you will keep on denying no matter how much facts you are faced with. Even women, it's a shame! Hope this kinda thing never happens to you but than most muslim men are like that, perhaps you will see the truth accept facts and have more sympathy for the victim if the same happened with you. Muslim women deserve the rapist muslim men!

Its really look awkward how come muslims are allowing ulemas to take decisions which are so absurd and barbaric by every means? If someone says something against allah, the whole muslim community stands united against the person who has said it. Now where is this same muslim community, when so much harm has been done to imrana? It really surprises me how can ulemas which have a backing of a muslim community takes such barbaric decision? Let me see on what ground do muslims justify the action of their ulemas?

United States of America is supposed to be one of the most advanced countries of the world. It also has one of the highest rates of rape in any country in the world.
According to a FBI report, in the year 1990, every day on an average 1756 cases of rape were committed in U.S.A alone. Later another report said that on an average everyday 1900 cases of rapes are committed in USA. The year was not mentioned. May be it was 1992 or 1993. May be the Americans got ‘bolder’ in the following years.
Consider a scenario where the Islamic hijaab is followed in America. Whenever a man looks at a woman and any brazen or unashamed thought comes to his mind, he lowers his gaze. Every woman wears the Islamic hijaab, that is the complete body is covered except the face and the hands upto the wrist. After this if any man commits rape he is given capital punishment. I ask you, in such a scenario, will the rate of rape in America increase, will it remain the same, or will it decrease ? ????

I believe it's for various reasons. In prison, some revert to Islam for protection issues. In the 50s and 60s lots of blacks converted during the civil rights era and never looked back. Those people had children and they were brought up in NOI households. To some, it makes better sense than Christianity and choose to convert. The Nation of Islam is a racist organisation. The Nation of Islam was founded by Wallace Muhammad and the NOI teaches that he was the Mahdi(think second coming of Christ for Muslims.) And it is taught that white people are devils. There is a big difference between Nation of Islam and and other factions of Islam, and not all blacks convert to the Nation of Islam.

I am sorry no Muslim really addressed the issue... counter-abusing hindus will not do.
This incident happend near Muzaffarnagar (UP) and was talk of the town.
The highest seat of islam in India...also gave a Fatwa that the raped woman cant live with her hubby
Instead of educated muslim standing with the woman...they are trying to play in the hands of mullahas who are misusing islam for their own ego-satisfication

Yeah, you're looking at the example of *one* small remote village in India, where people dont really follow Islam properly.
And thats not a Muslim law. And its not the womans fault. Its not Islam's fault if those ulemas are stupid ignorant asses.

I am a Muslim woman and I am treated VERY RESPECTFULLY and I don't think that I am being treated as a slave and my dad tells my brothers to help me always...SEE??
And Muslim women are supposed to be respected and helped and they ARE allowed to work outside their homes at the time of the Prophet (PBUH)
