hiya
i dont think its a problem
but give him drinks after food as the drinks can fill him up
also try smoothies and yogurt drinks they should cut down the drinks he has and its good for him
my son is two he has a dilated kidney and he got a water infection because he was weeing to much so we had to cut hes drinks down he loves his drinks he was never without one
my health vistor said to try and replace a few drinks with home made smoothies and yogurt drinks and he seems fine with that
dont worry about the smoothies being pure i was worried at frist but he eats the fruit i put in anyway so theres no harm
dont worry to much talk to your doctor and health vistor they will help
good luck :o)

My son drank alot as a baby and toddler and to this day still does. As long as he is drinking things such as milk, water, 100% juice he should be fine. No soda pop at that age and no drinks in a bottle at naptime/bedtime.

Is he active? Does he fill up on drinks and then has little appetite at mealtime? This would signify that he is drinking to much.

I would be more concerned if he were not drinking enough to wet several diapers a day.

my daughter is 23 mos and drinks a ton! We mix her juice with water. I would guess that she's been drinking 5 8 to 12 oz sippy cups a day since she was about 14 mos. At night we give her only water since she doesn't like that as much and won't drink as much just so that her diaper won't get to full in the middle of the night. :)

My daughter did this so I did two things- I first started her on Soy Vanilla milk which is good for them and she loved it. I then weened her into chocolate and strawberry regular milk. She is 3 1/2 now and drinks about 8 cups of milk a day! She loves it now. Hope this helps!

Milk is not great for humans. It's all sugar..look at the label. Cut down on the milk and have him drink water.

I have a 16 month old...with him, he's to the point where he'll drink when he's thirsty or when he just wants a drink. We usually have a sippy-cup available for him. When he's thirsty he'll go and get it.

Anything aside from carbonated drinks and alcohol.

He will drink as much as he needs. You must not force feed. If it is breast feeding, absolutely no need for alarm.

Check his sugar. He could have diabetes. This could be serious.
