My own family doesn't support me, my friends don't, I am going to support myself!!! I am going to get out of this predicament and show them all. Yeah I am selfish and need to prove to them I can be a useful part of their life, forget I have maybe some things in my head that need to get resolved. I might be doing something wrong, but my family and friends will be there right? When it is time to pick out the coffin. Harsh? Take care of your loved ones...........

I'm not sure exactly how your brother did it, but it doesn't sound healthy that you can go from severely overweight to fit in a few months. You should only be losing up to 2 pounds a week. Especially since he didn't do cardio, it sounds like the only way that he could've lost weight was just stop eating and that's not a healthy way to lose weight.

I'm guessing he had to have done more than just what you are stating. More weight training? Stomach crunches? Things of that nature? And radical change in his diet. No...you don't need cardio (treadmill or otherwise) to get 'cut'...the biggest meatheads I know avoid cardio.

He probably mixed the weights with cardio, which helps on weight loss. Dieting and amounts of protein helped with the buff part.

Sounds like he worked hard. As long as he didn't take over the counter diets aid and eats healthy food he's got it made.
