in other words, the ones that really take you to the brink of questioning your religion.

Can you cite them?

There aren't really any questioning passages; however, there are ones that are tough to come to grips with. for instance, the one about blessing those who curse you and loving your enemies is very difficult. I don't see why some people were "disturbed" when the nice Amish people forgave the gunman who killed their children. they were just living out the Word. That is something I try to do everyday, and will never be able to do well unless I ask for the Holy Spirit's help.

If you don't understand a passage, pray to God and ask Him for the guidance of the Holy Spirit; also, ask a teacher or leader how he or she interprets it. Just be careful about the interpretations you receive; some are not biblically sound.

Many things taken out of context can do that to a young Christian, especially when slung at them by unbelievers. But those of us who have been around awhile find no scriptures that don't add up. For if you know the entire Bible or where to find further revealing to certain "questionable" scriptures, it all adds up. There isn't any of it that doesn't make sense. Only for the unlearnded and youthful convert are there troublesome scriptures.

I don't have any to make me question my faith. But there are ones that make me curious. One is in Jude about the devil and Micheal arguing about the body of Moses...why?
