1 attack in London, 2 more attempted. We have every right to point the spot light at their little society.
We were not attacked by a diverse group of people but by MUSLIM males from Britain. We were attacked by an enemy who shares a common heritage. what's wrong with a fight back?

Llamada - but the point is that these are supposed to be British citizens. Plenty of Brits do not agree with the war, but they are not blowing up their felow citizens in London are they!

As for pulling the troops out of Iraq now.....if you say so, but if you think there's trouble now just wait for that dark day.

I think all this was on the cards long before the bombings took place. They've just speeded things up.

I don't want a fight, but I do think there are too many things unsaid about the how far the 97% of non-muslims in the UK have bent over backwards to meet the needs of the 3% of society who are muslims (those percentages were from The Independent 2 weeks ago).

Us in the 97% catagory do need to stand up, politely and respectfully, and say what is acceptable to us and what isn't. Compromise is absolutely fine, but at present that 3% are walking all over the majority.

The debate started after 9/11 in America for most people. However a debate has been going on for years. Muslims in the UK are mostly getting on with their lives. They do not want bombs on London or Bradford it may kill them. The problem is some radicals believe they can build an Islamic state in the UK. That will never happen as most British citizens would get up and fight it. I say if you do not want to accept our hospitality and live our laws get out. There should be less debate and more action to remove the few Muslim trouble makers.

If the Muslim debate came about because of these attacks why was there no debate about getting rid of all doctors and/or white people after what Harold Shipman did. Shipman killed more people than these Muslims did. The simple fact is that you are judging a society and a religion based on the actions of a few. Every time a white person kills someone or indeed many do you cry for all white people to be persecuted? Every British person that commits a crime does not bring cries of anti-Britishness with it. The debate against Muslims is simply unjustified and is fuelled by media hype.

Certainly it is true that the London bombs were the responsibility of a very small minority of Muslims. However, I don't hear the rest of the Muslim community condemning these people. All I hear is violent protests against "victimisation". But who are the victims here? And complaints about Iraq and Afghanistan are red herrings - 9/11 predates both of these wars. I should say that I am a peace-loving, tolerant guy with Muslim friends, but what is happening here is starting to change my attitude.

This whole muslim 'debate' is media driven hype with a clear political goal to keep people paranoid and scared so they will vote to keep the staus quo, it's a technique used by governments all over the world for years. HOWEVER, llamedos, with respect my friend the people responsible for the London bombings were not from Iraq. Muslims do not all come from the same country, honestly!!! There's liberalism and there's being plain bloody daft and your comments fall firmly in the second caregory. There is no excuse for terrorism, irrespective of British foreign policy. as for 'bringing the boys home' it's a rediculous idea, they must stay as they are the only functional security force in Iraq at the moment.

Well I thought Masjids across Europe had upped their security due to the terrorist attack by the anti-Muslim moron who killed so many innocent people in Norway. Atleast the protests in London had occurred for valid reasons, it just got out of hand. They could be excused more or less but the riots in Vancouver, B.C. here in Canada have no excuse whatsoever that as why they happened, friggin over a hockey game... especially when the team with real and most Canadian players won. People have seriously lost it. It's stupid rebellious act like these by morons makes the government want to put more lock down on us and take away our rights. They should be lucky they have rights and intelligence to understand and try to find a solution for the issues they have against the government. Why cause havoc? Not like the politicians were forced upon them and they could not elect them.

You are correct. If you think of the great injustices in the world against all the different races you would think that it would be the Africans blowing things up - but they aren't.

The muslims are playing a clever game to take over the west. The militant arm causes all the destruction and murder whilst the others erode our freedom of speech when someone draws a cartoon or politely requests that a woman removes her veil. I have heard that there are places in Birmingham where it is not safe for non-muslims to walk at night - this is wrong.

I hope I am wrong but if something doesn't get sorted soon I think this country could turn as bad as the Former Yugoslavia unless we get along better.

I think I know what to do. i know I am a yank, but all of this is realted and kinda like history repeating itself.
England and Europe has a long history of religous persecution and rightly so. If it weren't for that persecution, the pilgrims landing at Plymouth rock would never have happened and we as a nation would not be what we are today. So, i thank you Brits for standing up for your culture and religous heritage. Keep strong and maybe the Muslims that are causing such a fuss will feel that same persecution that my ancestors felt and will decide to leave the UK looking to practice their religon and cultural beliefs as they see fit. I guess I am saying they sould returnto the desert and leave y'all alone. The UK and West has worked too hard and shed too much blood in wars to give up now just because some Muslims want to bully you. Stay strong and PERSECUTE!
PS. I am not a racist, just a woman who loves her freedom and loves england. Go Arsenal!

It is difficult to give an erudite and non-biased answer to loaded questions like this as most people want to have their prejudices reinforced rather than discuss the issues at hand. The bombs in London were set off by a small group of disenfranchised youth who proported to speak for their minority group and the right-wing media has emphasised this idea, however this a dangerous notion that smacks of racism. It is as ridiculous as suggesting that Peter Sutcliffe the Yorkshire Ripper represents all Christians as he said what he did was inspired by the Bible.

You are so right but remember there are people in your country that have a different opinion even though they are being attack by these Muslims people. They are behaving like Mr. Chamberlain behave with Adolph Hitler before the 2nd World War. We the Western counties have to fight them and fight them with the same tactics that they are using against us. They are going to take over your country if you all don't wake up. The war inside of your country already started and is for you to finish it. Good luck if you need help let us know.
