It's being affectionate, but also wants to be cool so gets embarrassed and tries to cover up by biting you!

I think it is affection although i'm not totally sure because my cat occasionally, randomly decides to go for my mums ankles which although utterly hilarious is kinda strange. Maybe you just taste good lol.

Believe it or not, it's a sign of affection. My 3 siamese also all do this to one another when grooming each other.
