Personally, I think that Blair is one of the best Prime Ministers that England has had. He sincerely wants to help the English people.

I was disappointed when he let himself take a back seat to George Bush, but I wouldn't call him a puppet. We can see the effects of his worrying in the ravages of his face. If he was so self-serving and selfish he wouldn't have all those new lines scoring his once smooth visage.

Compare his face to George Bush. Bush is not looking one bit older now than he did 8 years ago. That is not any cosmetic regimen that he is on. The man just does not worry, because he thinks he is always right. He doesn't carry his experience on his face, because he genuinely does not feel.

We assume that blair is a puppet of Bush because we all know that Bush is stupid, and is doing the wrong things. YET no matter what it is that Bush does, Blair goes along and stands by everything Bush does.

It may be an inferiority complex on the part of Bliar, he has a massive inferiority complex and is always desperately seeking to please. so much so he has found himslef building up a fictional delusional reality in which he and Bush are always right, no matter what they do.

The British people on the other hand, have no such inferiority complex. The British have given back more of the planet than the USA will ever conquer.

Not all British think the same. Bush would have quite happily gone into Iran, Syria, Jordan, possibly even North Korea all guns blazing had Blair not had the nouse to advise him not to. It may appear that Blair is Bush's puppet but it's really Blair who's pulling the strings.

Maybe Blair's excuse is just like the Pakistan leader... side with Bush or be invaded like Afghanistan and Iraq... if only the US military is given a choice in the matter, there would've been a coup of Bush's administration already (I was in the US Army and went to Iraq).

we do not assume that blair is a puppet of george bush... we know he is. It is not an inferiority complex we're just p**sed off with our Prime Minister for being so weak

Blair has more punch on the global stage than you might think. Britain is important as well in terms of european and north american relations.

It's not just the british that assumes that. The rest of Europe thinks that too.

We don't mind him being a puppet. It's just that we are a bitg concerned that someone is operating two sets of strings!

Because Bush is willing to commit genocide and Bliar is willing to shake his hand.

Because the USA is the only country to ever use a nuclear weapon against another. Much better to have as an ally than an enemy!
