Guys between the ages of 12 and 15 are not "guys" they are children.
Usually they are rotten children. And they smell...just kidding, not all of them!

They are sons, nephews, grandsons and friends of other boys and girls in that age range. They are not mentally mature enough to even be considered real dating material. They may be physically mature but, if you are mentally mature then you know physical maturity is nothing without the brain to back it up.
They are very much about one upping their buddies in sports and games, making body noises, trying to fit in amongst their peers, and just trying to generally survive teenagehood.
They also have very limited spending cash so don't expect little trinkets, dinner and a movie, or an expensive birthday gift.

They're babies still.
The 12 year old, in diapers
The 15 year old, in training pants
Though I have to admit, some are good kids and respectful. Those few are the ones I make exceptions for to the 'diaper/training pants' rules.

They are just little boys, they are more interested in video games, friends, football all the things guys that age SHOULD be interested...of course they DO like girls, however, they aren't emotionally mature to understand and handle a relationship yet.

They are at the age where they are going through puberty and still learning who they are. It's best not to expect too much of a serious relationship during this time, but do expect a lot of gawking and attempts at getting to your "goodies".

I work with students in this age range, they're VERY IMMATURE, they laugh at every little thing, even if it isn't funny. Theres maybe a 3% chance that you'll find a mature one.

notorious kids....plenty of them hanging around our shop for nothing. wants to eat but don't even have money to feed themselves but makes most trouble on the street and thought they are the heroes where else they don't even know what's life all about for a start.
