Ok, (i'm 19 and he's 20) My boyfriend and I have been together on and off for 2 years. At first we were always happy, never fought and everything was wonderful. Problem is 2 days into the relationship i slept with my ex and didn't tell him until 10 months into the relationship. We have had lots of problems like this . I moved across the world, he's in the US and i'm in the Middle East, and he followed me here. Everything has been alright, but in two weeks he is going to be going home...
The problem is that we would never get to see each other. I mean, I love him and all but i wonder if it is at this point in life that we should just go our seperate ways. We have different ambitions, different ideas on life, and different beliefs on whats best in a relationship.
I would really miss him and it would be hard, but I need input on what other people would do given this type of situation. I know that no matter what we would always be friends, but it would be a long and hard journey.

I think it comes down to the simple question of can you live without him.
I think there are different levels of love and the one where you can't imagine a day without that person is the one most look for.

If you have that kind of a feeling for him & he for you, you will find a way to make it work no matter the distance.

But if, as is my guess, You will mourn his loss & value his friendship, but you can go on with your life without him as your "Man" then you should both persue your hopes, dreams & ambitions.

The "right" person is out there.

Never settle!

Based on your rhetoric, my gut reaction would be to split.
