Rub your fingers against a stainless steel item!

You can buy a special disc made of stainless steel in kitchen supply stores that you wash your hands with after chopping either onions or garlic. Or you can use any peice of cutlery or knife that is pure stainless steel, and wash it with some dish soap after you are finished cutting uo your offensive veggies and it does the same thing. Of course you must use caution when washing a sharp knife with your bare hands!!!!! Hope this helps.

'Cussons Pure kitchen hands' handwash; the citrus lemon n lemongrass flavour is awesome! Smells like expensive soap; definitely gets the garlic smell off n kills bacteria too!

Of cos for a more organic alternative, u can use lemon juice but i reckon handwash is easier, more convenient n cheaper in the long run. :)

Cheers!

Rub your hands in a stainless steel bowl / pot or just around a dry sink. It should take the smell away. Otherwise try some lemonjuice.

Rub your hands on stainless steel. I actually have this piece of stainless steel that they sell for just this instance. They sell them in some kitchen stores. It really does work for garlic, fish and other pungent substances.
