Can AC adapter use every country?

Question

My friend gave one electronic wall clock from japan .But i use it in Thailand. This clock has AC adapter in the box. But i am not sure. I worry if i do wrong .Can I use it in Thailand? If not what should i do? should i put one another AC adapter ? it say "able use in eveey country"

the power adaptors available and marketted these days are universal , unlike pervious years these are versatile for any voltage as these have self controlling or dropping features it can be used any where
you can always find your adaptors writen as 0 -110 volt - 250 volts
