It isn't even a theory using the scientific method as it cannot be tested.
The best evidence they say is the fossil record. All a fossil proves is that it is dead. They can't prove it had kids nor kids that weren't of their kind.
They also cannot test their methods of recording age for accuracy.
It also violates entrophy. Now they will say that the Earth is not a closed system. It sure is a closed system. It is a part of the Universe which is a closed system. Again, see that your car deteriorates with the Sun. Energy needs to be used to be useful.
There is just no evidence for Evolution. But loads for creation within the last 6000 or so years.

This question seems to totally misunderstand the meaning of the word theory.
A theory is a coherent proposition that is testable. Gravity is a theory, it is not a fact although we can see and feel it's effects every day. The reason planes fly is because of the Theory of flight. Unfortunately your example. the flat earth theory was never a scientifically tested theory. In fact there is little evidence that it was ever believed by any scientist. It is no more than an urban myth propagated by fools like yourself.
Currently there is more evidence for evolution than almost any other theories. Much of the medicine we use today wouldn't work if the theory of evolution was untrue.
Read a book on evolution, and make sure it's not one written by those creationist nutters who pretend to be scientists

You will never hear or read in science the word 'fact', it's just not part of the scientific vocabulary. Science works by using theories. All knowledge is a theory until tested to be otherwise. Darwin's theory of evolution has been battered, rubbished for the last 200 or so years. Till this day, it is still open to be put in the garbage at anytime. All you need is a better theory to describe how life started and evolved and then replace it. Thousands and thousands of experiments have been done all over the world for the last 200 years to support it or otherwise. Darwin's theory still stands firm as the best theory to date.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but "flat earth" was largely a bible-influenced belief. The ancient civilizations knew that the Earth was round, but everyone in Christianity's reach took a while to catch up. Except for the Flat Earth Society.
The essential flatness of the earth's surface is required by verses like Daniel 4:10-11. In Daniel, the king “saw a tree of great height at the centre of the earth...reaching with its top to the sky and visible to the earth's farthest bounds.” If the earth were flat, a sufficiently tall tree would be visible to “the earth's farthest bounds,” but this is impossible on a spherical earth.
Likewise, in describing the temptation of Jesus by Satan, Matthew 4:8 says, “Once again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world [cosmos] in their glory.” Obviously, this would be possible only if the earth were flat.
Revelation 1:7: “Behold, he is coming with the clouds! Every eye shall see him...”
Chronicles 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”
Revelations 7:1: "I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth"

Fossil records show how different animal species, yes even hominids, had changed/adapted over the years. Those changes/adaptation are what evolution is. Evolution does not have to be in conflict with religious beliefs. Science is an attempt by man to understand the world God has made for us. Of course, we don't have all the answers and may make several incorrect guesses before finding some things out. God created us in His own image. He wants us to be inquisitive and to discover the complexities of this world. Evolution does not refute His existence.

The most obvious fact is the knowledge that genetic and/or cellular mutation occurs quite frequently in all biological beings.
The very fact that all biological entities are different in some way (even in twin humans), indicates that biological change is a perpetual occurrence.

If you want a good hard argument, then I suggest posting this in the biology section.
One good fact that I can give you is the Darwin finches. They have evolved when Darwin documented their behavior, and they have evolved once again in recent news. This is only proof of micro-evolution, not macro, which is what I assume you are talking about.
and the Bible states the Four Corners of the earth, suggesting it's flat. It was the work of science that discovered it was round. :)

jesus bloody christ!
come on! if only you would lift your lazy butt to go to a science museum instead of a church, you will find that what you see are not " theories" by scientist, but your own stupidity blinding you.
science is not 100% right all the time, but when we have FACTS...it's a bit difficult to avoid is it?!

There is a fact that is witnessed everyday .
The fact is there are humans that look like humans ,but ask apelike questions about evolution everyday .Their minds haven`t quite developed into a free thinking and analytical mind ,testing truth against reality.
I believe they call this missing link,CHRISTIAN CREATIONISTS or BORN AGAINS.........................
