I don't believe it, but this is how some evangelical Christian kook explained it to me.
Back in the good old days, they had the Old Testament. One of the rules in this delicious book is that in order to keep god happy, you had to murder something every now and then. A ritual sacrifice, if you will. So everyone was happy and the villagers kept themselves hungry by sacrificing the best stuff.
Then one day God comes along and decided that it was about time for an update. God, who supposedly knows the future and can do no wrong, decided that everything until this point wasn't actually what he had in mind all along.
So he artificially inseminated Mary and she bore him a son. He was an alright guy, went around telling people to be good to each other. He had a lot of good ideas, so we killed him.
The crux is, the Christians took this murder and twisted around so that it was not us committing the sin of murdering him, but instead it was us being instrumental to the overall plan. Instead of sacrificing a lamb or whatever every week, Jesus was the 'ultimate sacrifice'. Once we sacrificed him, there was no more need for us to kill off our agricultural industry any more because he made up for it all.
Some even take it so far as to say that Jesus actually sacrificed himself by way of us crucifying him. However that works out, someone was guilty of a murder and the whole 'part of the plan' flip-flappery changes that. So God commissioned some guys to write the New Testament, which changed a few things around and stopped all that unnecessary stoning and sacrificing and dashing of children against the rocks.

A assassin has no love of human existence so not anything could subject there earlier than or after Jesus' dying. No, a assassin could in no way have a present in Heaven. Since Jesus used to be the primary to be resurrected to Heaven then prayer isn't the important thing to entering Heaven. This is determined at a million Corinthians 15:20. Jesus' dying lead the way for all (now not simply Jews) to grow to be Christ like or Christian. Rev. five:nine&10 , Jesus paid to grow to be King and rule over mankind with a remnant that his dying purchased from the earth. Not all of God's persons will probably be in Heaven. Most will reside in a paradise in the world. Revelation twentieth bankruptcy. No, Peter informed Jesus to avoid wasting himself and Jesus informed Peter "Get in the back of me Satan".

I have always wondered why a loving Father (God) would require that one son suffer for the sins of all his other children. That never made any since to me. Because he loved all his other children more or am I missing something? I really think someone made the whole thing up. But at least it put an end to the sacrifices that were going on at the time. I don't know why that put an end to the sacrifices since it was the Jews that were doing the sacrificing. Well, maybe I just don't know enough.

Here is an answer that will freak out many Christians. God the Father did not demand that Jesus die on the cross. God always intended to send His Son into the world. This would have happened even if sin had never entered into the world. If sin had never entered the world no one would have ever died and therefore Jesus would not have died. So yes Jesus died because of our sins but not because God demanded it.
If God orchestrated Jesus death, that would mean that those involved had no free will. Judas was forced to betray Him, Pilate was forced to condemn Him, and the soldiers were forced to kill Him. That is not the way God operates. We all have free will to choose good or evil. Those involved in killing Jesus choose evil. Jesus choose to freely give His life to show that even though evil could cause death it could not conquer Him. Jesus had the power to stop His Crucifixion at any time but He chose not to. He choose to allow Himself to be killed and God the Father choose to allow it to happen. That is the overwhelming love of God for us.

It is true that God is almighty in power but this fact does not cancel out his justice or the need for it to be satisfied. The clear punishment for sin was death. God's justice was involved. Moreover, other issues were raised in the Garden of Eden. Had God merely waived his hand, he would have violated his own justice, gone back on his own word regarding punishment and left unaddressed the issue raised by Satan in Eden. When our children are disobedient, do we merely waive our hand and say it's alright? What does that teach the child who disobeyed? What does that teach the children who did not disobey? And what message does that send to everybody else?
A look at the books of Deuteronomy and Leviticus shows the importance of God's justice being met. The only way to balance the scales of justice was for a perfect man to ransom back what the perfect man Adam lost. Jesus met all the criteria. He was a perfect human being able to lay down his life and ransom back what Adam lost for all of us - the opportunity to live forever as perfect humans.
As to why Jesus had to die the way he did, the nation of Israel was under a curse. If they did not perfectly keep the law (which they did not and could not do), they were under a curse. Jesus died the way he did to lift the curse. So we read at Galatians 3:13: "Christ by purchase released us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse instead of us because it is written 'Accursed is every man hanged upon a stake.' " (Compare Deuteronomy 21:23).
Moreover, the manner and timing of his death fulfilled prophecy. So, in one fell swoop, as the saying goes, God took care of everything and he did so in the best possible way for everyone involved.

because when satan rebelled against God he had to punish him and he did not want to kill his children, the one third that followed satan in his rebellion, so God destroyed Satan's kingdom and re created earth and that's when our bible stars in the Garden of Eden. But he left the sin un judged and the angels and every created thing was watching to see what God would do, So he gave every soul except Satan (Ezekiel28) a second chance to be born of women and walk through this earth to see if you would choose God or the devil, those who choose the devil and reject God both times are going to hell and the rest of us will be with the lord forever! He is a holy God and must judge sin but a loving God and came as a man and bor the punishment for us! Now receive him in the name of Jesus!

He was the perfect sacrifice. The Jews were raised to shed the blood of an Innocent Lamb to "wash away" their sins. After Jesus "The Lamb of God" was sacrificed there was no reason to kill lambs anymore. The Sacrifice was made in our place. The Sinners Place. When Jesus was sacrificed it was for us. God could have waved his magic wand but he wanted to show us just how much he loved us. So he sent his "Son" , (a part of himself) to live a perfect life and die for us.

Free will is the most important, and least understood spiritual
concept. Our Creator cannot give us free will, and then turn
around and run things.
The spirit that lived as Jesus Christ used His personal spiritual
power to reopen the doors to the spirit world that were slowly
closing, due to the dim nature of human senses.

Jesus HAD to die for our sins because God had it planned for us. He is Father, Son and Holy Spirit all in one. The Son knew from the beginning that He would come to earth in human form because our sinning never stopped. It was part of God's plan of salvation for us. God had given people plenty of warning of eternal punishment and eternal rewards but for generations people heard His warnings and still choose to ignore them. The Father sent Jesus when "all hell was breaking lose" and Jesus spent 3 years testifying His Father's word and some people followed and some choose to kill Him for it. Jesus knew He was going to die and rise. We are still sinning, so when "All hell break lose" again, Jesus will come again. (I personally think He will be soon, read Revelation).
Of course God is omnipotent and He can do whatever, wheneer, whyever. He choose to do it this way because of His own reason and He does not have to justify Himself to any of us. His love for us sinners is SO great that He was willing to sacrifice His Son for us. Can a person here do that? I doubt it. But we, believers, if we love Him SO much, should be willing to sacrifice ourselves for Him. Love goes both ways.
I believe that when we are Heaven (God willing we will get there), God will explain it all to us or when we enter that eternal state we will just "get it".
Peace!

Jesus died on the cross for you and I, for we were born into sin, (Adam and Eve) To save us. The Bible talks about his coming in the Old Testament and His presents in the New Testament. Jesus shed his blood to cleanse man kind from the sin. Ask and Jesus will come into your heart.
