Usually with things like Pepto Bismal and cough syrups etc. there is a warning on the label that if your symptoms persist for X number of days, consult a doctor.

Unless you love the taste of the stuff, why not see a doctor for whatever ails you may have? I wouldn't recommend prolonged ingestion of anything that comes from a medicine cabinet unless you want to become a case study for scientific research.

Any medication in excess is bad business. If your taking Pepto bismal everyday then there is something seriously wrong. But then again you just might be addicted to it or take it out of fear that you need it when you don't really don't. If you are having that much trouble with digestion, I would suggest you see a doctor.

If you have to continually use that stuff than something is wrong and you have get it checked out. If you just keep having heart burn try taking a tblspn of apple cider vinegar with mother root extract daily. It helps with allot of other stuff as well.

Well, not really too sure. I knew a guy who drank the entire bottle because he had an upset stomach and had constipation for a day or so.
