I'm a Christian and I know God is in heaven and also in our hearts (holy spirit). Some people say God is everywhere and everything, he's the mountains, trees etc. Are they right? is it written in the bible?

I forgot the verse, but it is written in the Bible that God put in the heart of every man, the knowledge that he was created.
Also, the stars tell the gospel story. There's a verse that tells that the stars tell the glory of God. The stars were placed to tell the story of creation and that Jesus was coming to save us. Astrologist have polluted that.

When I see a sunset or a rainbow or something beautiful or wonderful, I smile and think that it's God, giving me a gift. If I'm out walking my dog and it's a gorgeous sunset....I immediately say: "Thank you God." Now, the scientist in me says that it was caused by the forest fires and other particles in the air, and the Christian in me thinks of Romans 8:28 that God works all things out for good. I then think of bad things to pray about and wonder how God will work them out for good.

The bible is a book! It has a finite number of pages! How could one book possibly begin to explain everything there is to know about an omniscient being with no beginning and no end??
Why do Christians try to box god up in nice neat packaging all the time? Are they afraid of the idea that something could be so immense that it could never be defined? Just because something is or isn't in that collection of highly suspect parchments doesn't mean it's any more or less valid as a spiritual reality.

Your question moves from "can we see God" in these things to "God is in them" to "he Is them." See the problem? That conclusion is pagan, i.e., not Biblical. It leads away from obedience and full enjoyment of friendship with your Creator / Redeemer / Conquering King.

Finding God is different from seeing with your eyes. The finding happens anywhere hearts are open. It's available to everyone at all times. (Psalm 139:8, Romans 8:38,29) God sees us wherever we are (Job 34:21, Gen. 16). But for us to see Him, there's a How and a When and a What (Psalm 17:5, 1 John 3:2, Exodus 33 and 34) to protect us from the overwhelming energy that otherwise would destroy us. (Leviticus 10, 2 Thess. 2:8) The ultimate difference between Christians and Pagans is, we worship the God that loves you back. Loved you first, best and always.

God the father is a spirit as you know, it fills all time and space and holds everything together, Jesus is the manifested glory of the invisible one and is king of everything created because he created it for himself out of the invisible, and then from the heavenly material to the physical world we have now. Including our bodies that is his temple that he dwells in Christians, so God is in everything he is the dark matter that holds it all together, but we worship him in spirit and truth, and the BIBLE is the truth. so we seek out his word and he reveals these deeper mystery's to the seeker! Seek and you shall find more, he is the reveal er of mysteries! Glory Jesus!

Do not look for God here, there, or anywhere. Do not look for him inside yourself, or standing on a mountaintop.

If you're REALLY serious, you'll find God in the eyes of the hungry you feed, the thirsty to whom you give drink -- and in the tears of the broken and poor whom you lift up.

That's where you'll find him looking right back at you. I Promise.

We can see God in His creation. We will see God in Heaven if we are saved.

We can only feel God's existence, it is rather hard for us to see the God with our naked eyes, it is during the judgment day that our soul will see him.
