1 ton is marginally sufficient...1.5 ton is ideal for Delhi during peak summer. You can keep it in low speed and adjust the thermostat according to your comfort. Samsung has better service facility and trouble free.

One Ton Window ac is sufficient (1TR=180 sqft floor area approx). As the delhi ambient is high try to get an airconditioner with a good compressor. My choice would be O General.

the best tonnage is within one ton capacity ac for a room is suitable of any registerred brand.

1 Ton LG or Samsung if you want good quality at affordable price. If you can send more money, you can go for Hitachi, Carrier .They are about 30 to 40 % costlier.

8x10 is 80 ft/sq- about 5,000BTU will be fine. as far as brand im not sure what brands are available to you there

i think 1 tonne is enough for ur room u can go for lg & onida... but try not to take a split ac take a window ac....

LG or samsung they are always guaranteed in south africa so i am sure in india too
