Mrs. Potatoe Heads in Walthamstowe is quite nice; and their prices are very reasonable.

Eat and Two Veg in Marylebone. I was taken here on a date before, he had researched all the vegetarian places in London and chose this one-
http://www.eatandtwoveg.com/
We've gone a couple of times and I really love it. The menu is excellent- not pretentious like some veggie places can be. Have a look on their website. They've got plenty of vegetable-based dishes like curries but they also use meat substitutes really well, there's a "Chickyn" ceaser salad, with anchovie-free dressing, which I loved, and they do excellent veggie burgers.
They've got the Vegetarian Society seal of approval, which means everything they sell, the cheeses and wines etc- have been approved for vegetarians.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is also nice, it's pretty casual and relaxed but nice enough for a date. Highly recommended!
