This decade. It's got to be Manny Pacquiao. He's got the speed, power and strength. ALso the charisma. He's beaten the best of the best in the superfeatherweights like Barerra and Morales.

I wish I could just pick one. There have been some pretty damn good fights in the lighter weight classes this decade so I will pick the fighters that participated in them.
1) Marco Antonio Barrera
2) Eric Morales
3) Manny Pacquiao
4) Arturo Gatti
5) Micky Ward
I'm sure I probably took the easy way out on this question. I can safely say you'll probably get some great answers from the rest of the guys and gals that are knowledgeable about boxing.

So far in this decade i would say Marco Antonio Barrera he has been in more classics than anyone else with Morales a close second.
If you were asking who i think will be the most exciting fighter at the end of the decade i would hazard a guess at it being Manny Pacquiao i cant see him getting beat in the next four years.

i've got continually had JMM on my radar whilst no person else has... I continually felt he grew to become into underrated by way of his people via Barrera & Morales... Then whilst the two fought, that merely made concerns worse... JMM continually jogged my memory of Ricardo Lopez (make experience, same coach) and that i continually respected his textbook boxing. he's now proving he's the excellent of this decade. merely by way of him taking the combat with money might is impressing me cuz he's conscious time is working out to construct his legacy. playstation ... i do no longer think of he will beat money might.

Joe Calzaghe.
WBO & IBF Super Middleweight Champion, he has the longest undefeated streak of any active boxer out there.
If he was American he'd be a legend, being English he is relegated to the background.
