GET HER SPAYED.
Do not risk having her die delivering puppies
Do not risj having her die nursing (calcium depletion - very sudden onset, very fatal)
She will be coming into heat starting around now
She is the equivalent of a 13 year old girl
No dog should be bred until they have passed all the health exams for hereditary health problems:
xrays for hip dysplasia (just because they don't limp doesn't mean their hips are okay - and they can pass on the deformity which may be worse in puppies)
xrays for elbows
cardiac
thyroid
patella (xrays)
eye (has to be done every year - some thing don't show up until later)
NONE OF THESE EXAMS IS RELIABLY ACCURATE UNTIL BOTH DOGS ARE 2

a ****** canine will come into season at roughly 2yrs of age, and the cycle will last approx 2 weeks at which the 2nd week she will be most fertile.she will have 2 seasons a year (1 every 6mnths)for the rest of her adult life.breeding dogs is full of potential hazards for the ******, and unless you are monitored by a vet(costly)throughout the pregnancy and are aware of the danger signs to watch out for i would not go there.especially if selling the pups on is youre motive.it rarely offers much profit, once vets bills special dietary foods and youre own time taken up, is all taken in to account.

female should be 2 years- do you have buyers for the pups?? Expect to have atleast $2,000 to raise the pups and vaccinate them- otherwise dont do it- you need too have plenty of spare $$ incase the female has complications and the Vet needs to perform a C-Section- this will cost you about $1000 here in australia! then the extra foods and nutrients for the Female- consider whats involved b4 you do this- and let your dog become an adult B4 she is mated- we wouldnt let a 12year old human have babies- this not a good thing!

just because she is capable of reproducing doesnt mean that she should be. I would wait until she is 3 or 4. It would be like your mom telling you at 15 to go get pregnant. You are able to do it and you are almost an adult butyou are neither mentally prepared to handle it and it can changed your physical being so that you have problems later on. Talk to your vet and get his/her opinion, and also talk to other breeders in your area. Breeders of other breeds can help you with general breeding questions while breeders who breed the same thing that you want can answer breed specific questions.

they shouldn't. Visit a dog pound, t5here you will see many dogs about to be put to sleep. I rescue dogs and I love them, but it is a truthful fact that there are too many dogs in this world for loving families. There are not any more dogs needed at the moment. People just use dogs as machines and money makers. Please don't breed. instead get your dogs neutered and spayed. This will lower the risk of testicular and ovarian cancer.
DON'T BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE.

I have heared that you have to wait till the second heat of your female dog to make her having puppies.. not during the first one..
it is better and safer for her health.
and I suggest you to choose a good vet that has to follow you and your dog when you want to make your dog having puppies..
good luck! :)
