The Bible says that our bodies are temples for the holy spirit which lives in us and for us to take care of our bodies. It is a command from God. I agree that if your body is healthy, so is your soul. If you are sick and tired all the time, your soul cannot be of much service to others. Our society doesn't much focus on the positive aspects of being healthy, just sex, sex and more in your face sex. Being healthy can be a Godly thing if we allow it to be. And by the way, sex will be better as well, which is allowed by God only in a marriage between a man and a woman. Sorry all you gays and lesbians out there! Now, I've probably really made some people mad! And remember to take your vitamins! Do you need to write a paper on this or something? :) Well, in my opinion if a person cares for his/her body then his/her life will be better because (A) they'll be healthier because they eat right, exercise, aren't overweight, take care of their skin, don't abuse drugs, etc... (B) when someone takes care of their body, other people detect a sense of respect the individual has for his/herself. If a person has self-respect, other people will be much more likely to respect that individual, too. You'll have a nicer, easier life. Cheers!
