Last time I heard was the British army was considering the replace their SA-80 A2 for the reliability issues. They said the U.K. will choose the new weapon on the year 2005 or so.

Did they adopted a new weapon? If they did, what do they have now?

I heard they are thinking of choosing either HK G36, Colt M16 A2, and FN F2000.

they'll go with the G36 like every other country is. the M16A2 needs replacing as is and the F2000 is having issues of some kind. don't expect it anytime soon though, maybe by 2010 or so though.
