There are TONS of websites for preschool aged children! My daughter's favorites are Playhousedisney.com (featuring Stanley, Rollie Pollie Ollie, and many other "teaching" type characters) and barbie.com.

I recommend doing a google search on "preschool games" and going through them. I set my daughter up with her own account on the computer so that I could create links just to her sites and remove the browser bar completely!

Like the others say Cbeebies and Nickjr are great but there are lots of sites dedicated to favourite book and tv characters just type the name int a search engine to find your child's favourite. Lots of child orientated companies also have great sites. One of my favourites is Fisher Price which has various sites for babies to 10 years. Kids Domain is great too as is Enchanted Learning and DLTK kids - gerat for crafts and things to do.

websites are great to accent other things your child is doing but your child should only be doing these for a very limited time each day no more then 30 min or less per day.
a child that young needs to be exploring other things to do like interacting with other children, playing outside, and using other toys like blocks, dolls, cars, jigsaw puzzles. and interacting with you reading, cooking, and talking.
your child is only young once and you need to give them lots of experiences not just tv and computers.

try crayola.com, pbs.com, disneychannel.com, discovery.com, scholastic.com, yahooligans.com, several other tv programs, and well loved toys or their companies have sites too.

My twins (now 4) loves www.starfall.com. They have been using starfall since they were 3. They never tire of printing out the worksheets for coloring, as well as interacting with the website. We also have used some kindergarten reading materials produced by starfall.
