modern-day insignia for Irish militia uniforms can't be legally gained (from eire, I propose; there are possibly fakes obtainable in another country) via fact they contravene the Defence Act, which prohibits the donning of a militia uniform, or component of a uniform (i.e. insignia), by way of every physique who isn't a member of the Irish Defence Forces. That prohibition (and an identical one utilising to Garda (police) uniforms) got here approximately via fact they (uniforms, insignia, and so on.) have been lots sought-after by way of terrorist communities attempting to impersonate the valid protection forces of the state. (The donning of any distant places uniform, or section thereof, is likewise banned without permission from the Minister of Defence, in spite of the undeniable fact that for extremely diverse reasons.) Being latest in possession of the two can earn you 3 months interior the slammer. That pronounced, you will locate picture depitctions of somewhat some insignia on the cyber web besides. once you're merely conversing approximately replica one to sew right into a t-shirt, i do no longer think of every physique will care (in spite of the undeniable fact that, once you're making plans to accomplish that on a commercial foundation, undergo in ideas that the insignia are the legally the valuables of the Irish government, who could be completely entitled to take a case for copyright infringement in case you probably did no longer have permission, and that they found out approximately it).

I've been to Lakenheath and Mildenhall. They're RAF bases leased to the USAF. The only other station I know of that have Americans on it is occupied by US Naval forces, but I don't think I should say anything about them.

The only people that should care would be the soldiers that are stationed on them and little local business that thrive off of them. OR....a potential terrorist. Regardless....please know that this public forum of yahoo questions is monitored daily by US Gov personnel just......because.

doesn't the official secrets act cover pending answers. I am sure that the U.S.A would post the whereabouts of units in the press if they thought it would help the civilian populous.
