"If it could be proved that any part of the structure of any one species had been formed for the exclusive good of another species, it would annihilate my theory, for such could not have been produced through natural selection." - Charles Darwin

unknown perfects got a false point, the actions of the cleaner fish benefit both creatures so it is not exclusively for the benefit of either. The Shark does not have a need for cleaning developed for the purpose of feeding cleaner fish, the cleaner fish were not developed just to clean a sharks mouth. this example does no damage to evolution, and certainly does nothing for intelligent design.
the use of the discovery institute as a reference in kentgrue's answer should be ringing bell and is NOT impartial here is a link to wikipedia on it

The pathlights article that kentgrue puts at the top of his answer misrepresents what the evolutionists claim, but claims that were never made and refutes arguments that were never made. It is an excellent example of propaganda. A person with no knowledge of the subject would be easily led astray by it.

Any symbiotic relationship in nature contradicts this theory.

Are you familiar with the cleaner fish? This fish will swim into a shark's mouth and eat remnant food particles from the shark's teeth. The cleaner fish departs with a satisfied appetite, and the shark is happy because his teeth are cleaned in the process. The shark does not allow any other kinds of fish into its mouth without chomping down for a good lunch. Indeed, what other fish would dare attempt to swim into a shark's mouth! This type of relationship is called a symbiotic relationship. Creationists point out that these relationships clearly represent a design that could not have occurred by chance. Evolutionists have a very difficult time explaining how these types of relationships could evolve with time.

Nevertheless, an evolutionist will somehow have us believe that the cleaner fish eventually figured out he could go in the shark's mouth, and the shark eventually figured out that he should let him so as to maintain proper dental hygiene

Let's face it, symbiosis clearly points to a Designer. The lengths an evolutionist must go to to explain away this one is beyond fairy tale.

I am really impressed with your challenge.
I think that no people, including myself, can convert you to any religions, because you rationally have very strong faith in the all knowing scientist Charles Darwin.
I only wish that, later on when you become more knowledgeable to realize that the theory of evolution is not the eternal truth, then please study some other theories about the origin and purpose of mankind. Then, you might see some divine light in the Revelations of the One True God.

Re-cleaner fish although perhaps red herring would be more appropriate. The shark has what is known as a threat response. If it is in predatory mode it's posture and swiming pattern change and it releases pheromones into the water which make fish in the vicinity aware of the danger. The cleaner fish is therefore fully aware that it won't come to any harm. Keep the creationist crap coming on this board and I promise I will deal the death blow to every single one of the flawed arguments.

"Evolution is unproved and unprovable."
Sir Arthur Keith, author of the foreword to the 100th edition of Origin of the Species.

"Scientists who go about teaching that evolution is a fact of life are great con-men, and the story they are telling may be the greatest hoax ever."
Dr. T. N. Tahmisian, Atomic Energy Commission, USA.

"Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups. This theory has helped nothing in the progress of science. It is useless."
Professor Louis Bounoure, Director of Research,
National Center of Scientific Research.

"[Evolutionary theory] is still, as it was in Darwin's time, a highly speculative hypothesis entirely without direct factual support . . . "

Dear Poki: unfortunately atheism is just another -ism, a kind of belief. The real scientific mind is open to facts and experiments, we cannot prove the existence or non existence of God or other entities, so we keep minds open and keep researching and probing the Universe. Do not stumble with atheism, just become a clear minded seeker of truth (not divine truth) but experimental truth.

Everything is made for the good of all.
The bugs till the soil, pollinate the plants, feed the birds
and other creatures.
The plants create oxygen. Create homes for and feed
other creatures.
Even disease is part of the food chain. Bacteria helping to
keep any one form of life from dominating all the others.
It's all a system of checks and balances.
Believe what you like!

Atheism is not something you convert to. It's an understanding that you come to see for yourself. Religion is something you are programed into. The two are totally different. Are you looking for someone to talk you out of your new thought system? You'll have many before you depart from this realm of existence. There are so many to explore.
