Racism is in every group. Some is due to ignorance and some is due to not opening their eyes to a broader view of the world.

I think its dumb. We're all the same we just have different shades of skin.

Racism is ignorance, while color is one cause, money makes the world go round, those on top need for a division among the masses. As an American Indian I am often subjected to racial prejudice. I am sure many people dont mean harm when they call me Chief, or speak of our young men as braves, or root for teams like the redskins, or do the tommahawk chop, but it is.

Education and intragration is the answer

The Racist is a Pathology of the Human Being, is fear of the unknown and different, people who is arcist has been educated in a particular enviroment where other races do not exist so when they get to rational age, they develop a feeling for the unknown sometimes good and sometimes bad.

People like Hitler were racist, he believed that homosexuals gypsies gay people jews, were not part of the master race.

I think that many people who are racist feel that they are superior to other people depending on skin colour, racism has a long history in our culture and there will always be people who still believe the same thing.
Also, people may blame a particular country or type of people for problems they may have.

Personally, I am not racist and I believe that we should all have the right to live as we choose and believe what we want to believe, so long as it does not hurt other people in the process.

I know. Its soooo wrong. I think those people have some kind of fear from the other race or they just think they are so superior or both. Seriously this is a messed up world.

As long as this question bugs people; there will be racists... if an idea does not "get" to people anymore... there will be no incentive for other people to still entertain the idea... Don't let ignorance bother you...

Why does it seem to be socially acceptable for people of color to hate whites and yet it's socially reprehensible for whites to make any off color (pardon the pun) remark towards people of color? Why must only whites walk on eggshells? BTW, I am not 100% white.

I am sick and tired of the 'brown card' being played constantly here when it has no merit.

I think people are racist because they justify in their own minds why they want to kill or destroy a country to take over like these people.

To make my point, here is a Racist Quote:

"We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party
