I met my wife online. There are lots of weirdos I had a hard time but i succeeded. The site that you're using is important. Some sites attract weirdos more than others I don't know why. Choose a site that looks decent.

Its possible..You just have to be careful. As I've said before, if the person starts instantly talking about sex , cut them off because thats all they're interested in. (Unless thats what you're looking for). Be careful and trust your instincts. If you get a bad vibe, quit talking to them!! It may be nothing or it may be your sixth sense telling you that the person you're talking to is trouble. Either way, better safe than sorry. Make sure you *really* know who youre talking to before you agree to meet in person, and dont rush anything. Chances are if someone is ready to meet you and start a meaningful relationship with you 5 seconds after you start talking to them, theyre a little (or a lot) nutty. Remember that people can be anyone online, so if you are going to meet someone, please be careful and make sure they are who they say they are.

I've made a few really good friends online, and a couple were boyfriends for a while. We remain good friends.
BUT..I'm also sure there are tons of weirdos out there...waiting for you. Just be careful...!!

Any where you meet a person is a crap shoot, It is just on line, you can not see facial expressions to read to help make your choice.
