There is lots of costume paint in the stores right now..No, normal bleach won't work at all, and will only ruin his hair..the people hair bleach is a much different chemical..
You can make some stripes with children's white shoe polish..
You can get dog nail polish at your local pet supply shop.

I saw your picture, well the best color to go with short black hair would be golden or light brown streaks, but be careful, don’t over do it, the ratio should be 80% coverage of black hair with 20% of streaks, this is on option, the second option would be just to streak a few strands of hair in the front with red being the best option, but as you are fair, and other color too would suit it, like green, blue, but all these colors should be the dark shades and not light, for example blood red, dark blue or plant green, doing this would set you apart from other and give you a bold look which I’m sure you want.

Yes, hair bleach will work but as a lab has short hair you will probably get a horrible alergic reaction.
Your dog will lick and chew his nails if you fiddle with them and that will give him the runs.
Your dog beauty therapy is going to create vet fees!!!!

belinda, you sound like you adore your dog. That is noble, but Paris Hilton as a role model is not REALLY a good thing u know. Most people have given their opinions, some harsh, and some truthful. I'm sure you have an idea now that it probably aint the best course of action for little doggie woggie but if you feel you want to pamper him, take him to a special doggie parlour, cause they know wots wot. Whatever you do, take care, cause i think you only asked the question so as to prevent hurting him because you're not sure if it would. Anyway, take care then yea, Wizzie

Tell us where you live so someone can come and take that dog away from you. Despite what you see celebrities like Paris Hilton doing, animals are not accessories!! Get a purse if you want to match your outfit, for pete's sake.

You will injure your dog if you use bleach on him. Period. There is no intelligent reason for decorating your dog.

Are you having a laugh. That is abuse. Leave the poor dog alone. If you want to try out new hair colours either use your own head or buy a plastic hair model

Bleach will burn your dog's skin. Do not use dog nail varnish either. If you are joking, this is not funny. If you are not joking, you aren't responsible enough to have a pet.

Someone should take this dog away from you, because you are definitely not responsible enough to have a pet of any kind. You want to harm your dog, just to 'decorate' the labrador, for your own amusement?

STOP THE DRUGS ! !

This will actually cause damage to your dogs health not to mention his skin and coat! Cats and dogs absorb chemicals quite easily through their skin and their paws. They cannot use the same chemicals as humans. The chemicals are too potent. My mother is a Cosmetologist/Barber!
