Joel Osteen, Houston, TX

I find him consistently inspiring and encouraging. The Bible comes alive. He has a wonderful book "Your Best Life Now". He seems genuinely humble...like he is as amazed as anyone that the Lord has him where he is. His testimony is touching.

The only nationally known preacher I like is Billy Graham. His son, Franklin Graham is also good, but I have only seen him preach once or twice.

Unfortunately, most, if not all, of the current TV evangelists are of the name-it-and-claim-it/Word-Faith theology. Basically they say that if you believe it enough and pray hard enough, it will happen. That just turns God into a big ATM. Needless to say, they will accept any donation you would like to give.

For those who like John Hagee, take a look at his theology from this apologetics website. http://www.apologeticsindex.org/356-john-hagee-theology He unfortunately partially believes in the Word-Faith theology
"Along with the prosperity message, Hagee accepts and promotes the doctrine of positive confession — a foundational teaching of the Faith movement which maintains that Christians can speak (i.e., positively confess) physical realities into existence as long as the believer exercises enough faith to accompany his or her verbal confession."

I always liked Wester. He is expository in method and theroughly schooled in Greek. Keeps to what he knows is right on, and lets the Spirit do the talking. Seldom ever makes a show except to bring home a truth and has a decent vocabulary, so can be concise, and still insightful.

John MacArthur, Josh McDowell, Chuck Swindol, and Dr. James Dobson. Very Biblically oriented.

Easy! Billy Graham! Although he is more of an evangelist than a preacher. (For those who don't know the difference... an evangelist is someone who strictly tries to bring people to Christ and a preacher is the one who teaches about everything in the Bible.) As to why... it's because of how he has truely commited himself to bringing people to Christ. He is not fake!

Joyce Meyer. i like her reflections and devotions interior the margins of the Amplified version of the Bible. She does use all sorts of media, plus the written word. Joyce has written many spectacular books. To the excellent of my understanding Joyce Meyer has no longer "had her hand interior the cookie jar". i think of my 2nd popular is Billy Graham. He has served the Lord for lots of years and reached many people. thank you for asking.
