Serving: 2 1/2 pint glasses

2 shots vodka
4-6 apples (enough to create about a pint of juice)
Handful of mint leaves
Squeeze of lemon juice (optional)

Cool Apple vodka

Ever have parties and want to have something a little different to offer your guests? Do you ever over indulge and regret it in the morning? This alcoholic juice recipe is a winner in every way.

It tastes far superior to the many sugar filled alco pop drinks that are popular today. Fresh juice contains natural sugars rather than the many heaped teaspoons of processed sugar these alco pop drinks contain. Alco pops are also crammed full of artificial colours, sweeteners etc. This simple juicer recipe is one of THE freshest tasting alcoholic drinks I have ever had.

This juice recipe excels in helping keep a party a clear and happy memory in the morning. Apple juice aids liver detoxification and dilutes the vodka so that it is taken into the body in safe quantities.

Juice the apples and add the vodka. Wash and then tear up the mint leaves with your hands, this will help release the wonderfully refreshing mint flavours and aromas. Add the leaves to the drink and mix well. This juicer recipe is best served within a minute or two of adding the mint so that the mint flavours have been absorbed and the juice is at its freshest. The apple juice will oxidise over time and turn brown which your guests might not find too appetising. To slow down the process of oxidation you can add a few squeezes of lemon juice to the drink, not to many though or you will mask the wonderful combination of apple and mint. Serve in chilled glasses.

Lots of variations: (Out of Jack La Lane Power Juicer book)

Try Mixing orange, apple, carrot, grapefruit, and cantaloupe with a pear. He calls it a sweet juice sensation.

Or try a Fresh Celery Blend, 1 stalk celery, 1 large carrot, a small wedge of lemon.

It would help if I knew what kind of juice maker we are talking about.

there are loads of different juices you can make, but here is a little word of advise..... head down to your local supermarket, go to the juice section and have a look at some of the expensive juice blends, and work out the ones you like the sound of, then make then yourself at home! That's how we started

Anything, from celery, cucumber, kiwi, melon, pear all different flavours go together dont have to be fruits either. Suggest you buy a juicing recipe book to help.

The only limit to the type of juices you can have is your imagination...

You can use fruit and veggies either together or separately

Go for it and experiment....
