All is well if u keep urself under control or moderation. Having born as human being, one must taste beer, wine, whisky, brandy, rum, gin, vodka, scotch, cocktails etc.
No religions says go and get drunk. Every religion warn about excessive or indulging without moderation. In Most of the muslim countries it is sold or atleast sold in bars. So u can try on any occasion u want to just celeberate. I have consumed in Muscat, Dubai.
In Saudi Arabia it is banned for most of the population excepting embassy people. By the by Saudia is Practical Hell in our planet.
So do not get influenced by religion in matters which are not called for. Beer tates mellow, woodish smell with light bitterness.
The gwaffaws u make after some sips too smell nice. U do a lot of pissing after 2 or 3 bottles. After first bottle u fel ur stomach is iced. That is the magic of beer. Also there are negative side for beer. U R likely to add on big belly/paunch. U may get gastric trouble, u may not get any intoxication until u complete adozen bottles. then u will become flat. Remember these are for drinkers without control. If u drink occasionaly and drink a bottle or two u can actually enjoy and there will be no side effects.
Go Start with a beer and enjoy. Best beer brands, Heniken, Fosters, Sab miller, King fisher, Golden Eagle, there are thousnds of brands. Avoid drinking chineese beer. It is too hard and difficult. Rest are o.k

It's a fermented grain.. so think about drinking a tall cool glass of wheat and barley. It doesn't taste that good, but you get used to it. Considering that people only very rarely drink non-alcoholic beer you can be assured that the taste is not the appeal. The appeal is it is a cheep way to get inebriated. Now it's a whole other discussion as to why Westerners crave inebriation so much. I guess sometimes life gets stressful and it provides a sense of relief to numb the mind for a short time.

Beer tastes something like a really good yeasty bread. Depending on the type of beer, it can also taste like cereal. I like drinking different types of beers in the same way that a person who enjoys wine tasting does. In small quanities, beer can make a person feel very relaxed and is excellent if you're having trouble sleeping. When a person drinks a lot of beer the alcohol content causes the same negative impact as any alcholic beverage does. I respect your religious conviction not to drink, but you should know also that beer was first brewed in antiquity by the inhabitants of the Middle East. Beer was made to preserve harvested grain.

Beer has gt its own taste, it got not taste of alcohol in it. The taste is diff when cold, and diff if not cold. One has to develope liking for the taste.
We take it just as we take any alcoholic drink for "Slight Kick". It may be banned in quite a few Muslim country, but as a matter of fact there are lot of Muslim who do consume Alcohol. Let me tell u, if u go to the Super market or in duty free shops in Dubai, Muscat, Baharain or Doha u will get these freely available. People only create a big fuss, but they secretly enjoy these things.
Allah, has disallowed it because popel will get intoxicated and create problem for themselves and others. But are the inscription of Quran really practised the way they should be done? Lot of people have mis-interpreted the religion. Thats y they say, no other prophet shall come (to avoid any mis-interpretations)

Beer can have many very different flavors but most of the time it is a little bitter and somewhat nutty in taste. If you want something easy to drink you may wanna try Mike's hard lemonade because it hardly tastes like beer, but has a real sweet and wonderful lemonade flavor to it.

According to Islam, muslims are not permitted to consume
alcohol, like beer. It's 'haram' for them. However, non-muslims
can drink it and the taste of beer is warm, smooth and satisfying.
People drink it because it warms the heart, circulates the blood
system and 'alerts' the mind. If you drink it too much every day, you'll be so intoxicated that your judgment is impaired which is bad for your mind and health.

Most people drink beer because of the effects alcohol has on them. It's not like coffee since it doesn't make you feel more awake. Alcohol is often called liquid bravery or something equally tongue in cheek since it lowers your inhibitions. It also supresses your reflexes and kind of blurs your memory if you drink way too much.
Something tells me Allah isn't going to damn you to hell if you have a couple. Just don't get drunk.

I've bought beer or vodka in Jordan, Turkey, Syria and Egypt so maybe a blind eye is turned in some cases.
Bitter and refreshing (kind of an alcoholic coffee that makes people act foolishly when they drink too much...)

its bitter.. and its usually an acquired taste.. ppl dont usually like it at 1st. ppl drink it 4 the intoxication effect - quite the opposite of coffee
if u rilli wanna try, try non-alcoholic beer.. they taste virtually the same.
if u dont mind alcohol. .then i'm sure u'll get it in black, albeit quite expensively. i myself liv in a muslim country, but alcohol is available if i want sum.. u just need 2 know the right ppl :P

It tastes sort of nutty and a bit bitter but in a nice way. Most people don't like it at first.
People drink it as it makes them relaxed and happy... but too much makes you sick!
