If you are friends, then she trusts you and likes you - work on those qualities you have in the relationship - be honest and sincere about her situations as she confides in you - compliment her on her hair, taste in clothes or accomplishments without being too sappy and obvious - just subtly from time to time - she'll see that you're into her as a person and may not want to lose that since you may be the only one that treats her as a real person with great qualities.....wouldn't you like someone more if they built you up a bit?

" I know that you don't want to be in a relationship but I just want to let you know whenever you are I want to be that man you date" You could say something like that. Let her know that you want more but you won't push her into having a serious relationship. Tell her when she's ready for more than friendship because you want to be with her. Ask her if she dated would she date you?

If she doesn't want to date you, there is nothing you can do. Just move on and find someone who does want to be with you. Sorry... I know it's rough and I've been there.

be patient and a good friend until she is ready then she might look to you as the kind of guy she wants to be with.

Be easy, take it slow. Just be her friend, and if she has feelings for you, eventually they will show, and that's when to make your move.
