Hello!! :o) I appreciate why you're confused. But I think you need to back away from that ex-boyfriend's friend. Next time he text-messages you - let him know that you're no longer interested. And then say 'good-bye'. [And mean it] That may seem 'mean' - but I think you are running the risk of being considered his 'doormat' if you keep agreeing to see him even though he continuously bails out. It's also important for you to accept that you do not NEED to 'understand him'. I think a lot of us waste a lot of time and energy on trying to 'understand' people even when they have proven over and over again NOT to be all that considerate of our feelings. Take care of yourself. Craig!! :o)

The best way of end your uncertainty, is to ask the friend straight away what his intentions are. Perhaps this is your ex's way of testing you, to see if you will fall for his friend. But just ask its as simple as that.

They are both in on it. Same thing happened to me. My ex's friend invited me over( he said my ex was gone for the night) and when I got there my ex was there. They lived together as well. Don't fall for their games they will mess your reputation up.

I would suspect possibly you ex might have something to do in this, possibly your ex is using his friend to see what your up to or if your looking for other ppl, possibly your ex is seeing what your reaction would be espicially in texts...possibly your ex is even using his friends phone to text you..I would proceed with caution

He might be testing you to see if you would actually date him. Leave him alone, he might be up to something. Guys don't usually respect females who date their exes friends.

Well I think he is interested in you but afraid of your ex maybe .. or maybe they both are playing mind games with you..
Just be clear and ask him what the hell does he want from you..

Frankly, it sounds as though you're being toyed with. I'd watch myself. I'd also tell him to quit calling you. Be strong and assert yourself - be in control, not waiting to see if...
