if he called you politely then he is probably interested but if he called you in a psycho way, try to call the cops...

I'd be concerned. People usually have the courtesy to ask first.
I suppose you might feel a bit flattered by the attention but personally would feel very wary. I would tell him how I felt about it too.
I can't tell if you're male or female. If you are male DO NOT think of doing this. It is the height of creepiness and bad manners.

If your not interested in this guy I would be very concerned about the lengths he went to to get your number. I would tell him the truth if you wanted him to have your number you would of gave it to him. Tell him your very uncomfortable with the situation now and not to call you. I think men like that have problems and I wouldn't want to get involved as a friend or anything else for that matter.

How did he get your number? Ask him. If he says he can't tell you, you must tell him you understand but please do not call again until he can tell who it was. You will not be mad if it were a friend of yours you can verify. If you already like him then it makes little difference but I guess you would not ask this question if you did. Random people are problematic. You need a connection for you to proceed. Dont kill him for trying, be polite, flattered but careful.

Seems a tad desperate... and rude. He should ask you for the number. I wouldn't get too friendly with the guy. It sort of represents an overly aggressive person.

I have a number close to that of a big biusness in town, so I answer the phone with a joke. ("hello. this is not Pizza Hut")

I then ask them what they want. that's usually when they hang up. X3.

I prefer if the guy himself asks for my number, not from other source, unless if a friend of mine informed or asked me that she'll give my number to guy...
i've another experience, there's this guy who suddenly sent me an sms message, but he didn't actually asked for it, his friend was the one who asked for my number coz that friend of him was my date, i didnt know that they're just all scripted, when in fact that guy should've just the one who meets me or dated me and asked for my number instead since he's the one who likes me anyway.
I don't like it if a guy suddenly calls me, like i don't know where'd he come from or how'd he got my number

I would be paranoid b/c it could be a prank call or a stalker. I would call the police if the person persisted in calling me.

I would think that he had enough interest in my to get my number and confidence to call me. Especially if you guys don't know one another all that well.

If you don't want him to call you I would try asking him nicely to not call you anymore.
