Energy and long sessions in bed then yes good fun. However if you want emotional support and comitment, then I guess no. You will never have the same draw as an XBox or a playstation, you will never be able to compete with mates down the pub. Although at 17 he can't drink so can drive you everywhere.

Also think back to when you were 17 and think about how much of a **** your friends were at school.

I just have to answer this Q. I have been there! don't do this. I had a few situation like this:
a) I was 21 and kissing with 17 yo
b) I was 25 and trying to be with a 21
c) and recently 27 got involved with a 20!
all I can say is most of the time they don't get that you are independent, have your own life, your own plans, your own hobbies and interests, serious job.

the last one told me he loved me after 2 dates and one kiss!!!
I prefer older people who know where they go in their life... yet somehow can't help this youngster crushes...
I don't think its normal;) all the best

I think it depends on the woman and the boy.... and let's be honest in most cases that is exactly what we are talking about a WOMAN and a BOY. Most 17 year old boys can't keep their minds on anything let alone a single girl for more than 20 minutes, so in most cases I would say this is heading for tears before bedtime......

Absolutly not. A 25 year old girl is very very imature and messed up if she is looking at a boy of 17. A sick situation. You both need to find some one your own age. Life is not just all about sex.

I don't have a problem with that, but she needs to understand that he is still maturing and they could grow apart.
A 25 yr old female should be dating a guy at least 23 if she is hoping for something that has a real chance of lasting.

Well the problem is they are most likely going to be at different stages of maturity ... he could have different likes and dislikes to her and this could end up clashing. For example she may be more career orientated now than he is, where he could be more into looking for a good time etc. It's better to be with someone slightly closer to your age so that you share more in common and have similar interests.... but it could still work...

Speaking from first hand experience, (I'm 15, and the guy I was with was 42) I wouldn't do it. Yeah it may be fun, but what is wrong with someone your own age? 17 year old boys are annoying anyways.. lol

It doesn't seem right, but then so little of life is!
I know someone who married a woman 13 years older than he is. He was 19 when they met. They're still married 20 years later, and mostly, very happy.

At first sight does not seem ideal to me.

Possibly basis for very low quality relationship, wouldn't of thought much would be shared in terms of values etc

Thing is, if everybody says the same, ironically they might fight harder to show it can work and have an extraordinary relationship.

Stranger things have happened !
