Yes, very strange. I don't know what you mean by being "physically, mentally and financially abused" but whatever your definition is, it can't be realistic. Millions of women all over the world are still being abused despite how society has evolved. For you to "get turned on" by this is not only sick, it cheapens what these women experience, struggle against, and survive from.

Ok so I love how some fools on this have turned your question into a sexist issue. You asked a question about women- doesn't mean you hate men or don't care about the reverse side of spousal abuse. At any rate I would imagine the number of abused women who would be willing to respond would be small so I doubt you're going to get a large response from those being currently abused.

No, it is not strange at all. It's called masochism and its as old as the mountains. Men who prefer it usually go to prostitutes for a good beating!
