I seriously doubt that you need anyone to "sponser" you if you are coming here just for a holiday...as long as you have the valid paperwork, and can prove that you have enough money to sustain you whilst you are here, you should be ok to come over. If you couldn't prove you had enough money, then you would not be allowed in the country.

Well, obviously, some people here are not familiar with visa affairs. Answering as well other participants questions....people from other parts from the world (other than Europe and us, I think) need a visa to enter the UK. You may have lots of money to pay for your expenses, but still, authorities need to have some sort of guaranty that you wont stay for good. Having a sponsor doesn't necessarily mean that they have to pay for you....instead they make themselves responsible for your behaviour or expenses during your stay (which of course doesn't have to be necessarily true). In many cases, a sponsor just agrees to say that to authorities just to help the other person enter the UK. Of course, a great deal of trust is required, because if the sponsored person ***** up, then the sponsor may be in trouble.Thus...finding a sponsor is not as simple as downloading mp3. Perhaps, a good way to find someone would be to try and see if anyone you know knows anyone in the UK, who may be willing to help....and of course, be a good boy/girl, if granted a permission. For a second time there, the sponsor's help might not be needed, depending on how you behaved during the first time. unfortunately, people from Central/South America, Africa and some Asian countries are looked down and given fewer choices than others...regardless of how well of you may be to travel on your own. Hope his helps.

Sponsor or not posting the question as you have done, seems to me that you are looking for a way in before disappearing never to be seen again! It would be much better if you explain as to why you feel you need a sponsor in the first place then perhaps, we may be able to understand where you are coming from.?

Luisho has probably given you the best info anybody can if you are travelling without a tour group. If you are joining a tour company, ask them if they can sponsor you.
