I don't think of Mexicans automatically; do you?
However,It does seem like a normal tendency to do so since illegal Mexican immigration occupies almost all the news on the subject.
Besides, how many people caught coming over the Mexican/US boarder daily are named Boris, Kuan-Yin, or Wolfgang ?

You're generalizing. I don't just think of Mexicans. However, there are more illegals from Mexico than from all of the other countries put together, and they are the one making this all about 'race' (even though Mexican is a nationality not a race.) It frames the debate to some extent.

My grandfather was a Mexican immigrant that became a citizen because he loved this country and he was American until he died , the best man I have ever met. I hope I could be a fraction of the American he was.

cause the russians and the chinese know where they stand in society. the god dam ****** and the spicks just cant seem to get it through their thich skulls the they cause more harm than good and bring nothing to the table besides crime and stds. pluss u got to many ILLEGAL spicks and hell, we used to have the ****** as our slaves. besides think about which races, given the same circumstaces, would you want to be packed in with nut to but. exactly, not a spick or ***** thats for sure. ewwwww

When people think of immigrants they think of people from other countries coming to the United States "LEGALLY", playing by the rules and LEARNING ENGLISH and waiting in line to obtain citizenship.
When people think of "illegal aliens", they think of what, I think you are describing CHEATERS AND LIARS that leap over the boarder and cut to the front of the line in front of everyone else.
They scream and DEMAND we give them citizenship before anyone else because they can scream the loudest.
And because most Latin people usually come to the United "Steaks" illegally I think that who and what you are refering to.

Probably because Hispanics are the most predominate immigrants in recent years. I am glad to see all immigrants as long as they are LEGAL.

because now we are the largest minority group in the u.s. I have asked myself that same question as well, I think there are just as many or even more illegal chinese people here.
