It's because they have low-selfesteem. Being rude to other people make them feel better!

I have been doing the yahoo answers thing for a while now and here is my logic on it. Be care full what you ask for' You might get it. I don't mean to hurt any ones feelings but when you ask a dumb question or a question in a a-s-s hole kind of way I sometimes answer the same way. Some get on here and ask questions like' How did i get such a big pecker it's 9 inches and my girl friend loves it. What should i do? That's just 1. I think some deserve what they get. Some need chewing out to bring them back to reality. Just my thoughts

Some of these people on here don't know you...half of these people on here do not even know themselves.so whatever the mean thing's some people have to say to or about you should be meaning-less,some people feel the urge to attack others on here, do they give a reason as to why they are doing so? no not usually...so don't let it/them bother you.the one's that are being mean are the one's who must make other people feel like **** to actually make themselves feel good, you should consider these people below your notice or worth.and don't forget that this is on-line,as long as it's *open to the public*, there will be mean/rude people,There are going to be plenty of people that just can't/wont take someone Else's feelings into consideration...and if their getting the best of you then their life doesn't seem so bad...

Because this is the Internet and people are faceless and find that they can be a different person and air the fears hopes and dreams... this alas also means that the alter ego of people come out... generally .... this is through nasty comments etc... its easier to snap/open up/shout/cry at someone when there not there in front of you...

Don't take it too personally though... majority of people on-line are nice enough...

Hope this finds you well...

There are quite a few short, sharp mean and very generic answers.

Reality is great but many show scant regard for any reality except their own.

Most of them don't help the questioner, don't help themselves, show no life exploration, no creativity.

These people are missing out and just wasting their own and everybodies time.

I just feel sorry for them.

They're not mean. It's just that some of you people take EVERYTHING so bloody literally and can't spot a joke if it involves three men walking into a bar! If it's straight out nasty then I'm sure you can live through it. It's only an internet site afterall.
That whole speal about saying things from the safety of their pc.. I personally don't say anything on here that I wouldn't say to anothers face in real life.

Sometimes just because its the correct response to a stupid question. But mostly I would like its little people with little egos who make themselves feel better by doing it.

Its really not worth our time to worry about it though!

I'm generally sarcastic when people ask lazy or foolish questions.

I think to see if I can figure out the answer before I ask a question and expect others to do the same.

Lack of manners. Bad training and upbringing.
And of course, because you need to ask something, they feel the right to sneer at you.
Ignore them. Most of them are school kids! Pity the teachers.

The anonymity of the internet gives people a boost of confidence, and allows them to do and say things they never would in their real lives.
