It's not too late, the newspapers are running ads right now for all the ski resorts. Some of them open in the next 2 - 3 weeks. I'll echo the others though, and caution you that it's very difficult to find housing, so consider looking for work with one that offers room and board with employment.

Because Banff is "the" place to work and ski. That's why Banff. Hehe. Have you tried the Calgary Sun? They do a lot of job postings for Banff as well.

Have you thought about housing in Banff though? It's not cheap by any means. You might want to do a little research first, and make sure you can find housing that you can afford. Or a job that includes housing.

Why Banff? I don't know where you are from, but there are MANY ski resorts in British Columbia that are crying for employees of all types. Try sun Peaks (out of Kamloops), it is also an AWESOME resort to learn how to ski. There is also Big white near Kelowna.
Both are great resorts... and need workers!
I am sure every other ski resort in BC is begging for help.
Good Luck... you will have a fun winter where ever you choose to work!

You may not get into the actual resort but there are many hotels/lodges and restaurants in Banff. Its a beautiful place. You don't have to know how to ski. (But I bet you'll want to learn once you get there).
Go to www.banff.com and start contacting some of the places listed on the site to see if they are hiring.

Right now Whistler, in British Columbia, is actively recruiting for workers for the ski season. Send them an application -- and send one to Banff, as well.
Being a non-skier doesn't matter for an indoor job. They only require ski skills for the ski patrol, instrutors, lift workers, hill packers etc.
good luckl!

The activity would be extremely common to locate yet lodging may be tougher to locate. around 8 or 9 years in the past my boyfriend paid $500 according to month for a room in a apartment. Now, via character of the section it ought to be $900. i could initiate looking as quickly as obtainable! He says as long as you have some money stored up merely before going and try to basically have a competent time, it's going to be an prolonged and undesirable winter! Alberta additionally has the backside minimum salary in Canada, so which you would be based upon suggestion lots. In different components of Alberta there is greater of a conflict to locate workers, so minimum salary is bigger. yet in Banff, people prefer to truly stay there, so as that they've no might desire to boost the salary.
