there, find the "planar speaker" link. about 75% of the guys (and gals) in there are maggie users, so you may get a better answer there.
Just tell them what you are looking for, and the condition that they are in. There are a few guys in there that prefer the SMG a, and use it themselves.

Maggies are also nice because you can get the older ones refurbished by the Magnepan factory.
