just got my life agent license. been appointed to a company that i don't think is doing any good for me. would like to know how to get out of it

The appointment contract specifies how you get out of it. Usually it's giving written notice.

Keep in mind, if your license requires that a company sponsor you, and this was your only sponsor company, when the agreement is terminated, so is your license.

Get a letter of reliving from the company. Or U can also relive the company u work with and show the new company either that of the old company reliving U or u reliving the old one.

That will do in INDIA. Check with the local laws if u r not from india

sit down with your boss ( make sure you have a list of pros and cons) explain to her what you are not comfortable with and see what the results are. then go up the chain of command. if you do wish to pursue the professional protocol. then resign with a letter that gives them 90 days to find someone to replace you. ( that way you have a job through the holidays) during the mean time get your resume out there use the contacts you have made. join the board which ever type of insurance lic. you have they have a group.

First study the rules of the company you work with and act accordingly. Normally one letter would do.
