It's a really good idea to! There are moisturizers now with sun protection in them, so it's like you don't even have it on. Remember, no lower than SPF 15.

You would be that much safer if you wore it every time you left the house, especially if you live closer to the equator. Remember that you only have to wear it on parts of your body that will be exposed to the sun. Any part of the body that is covered with clothing will be safe.
As far as I know, sun screen does not 'cause' cancer. The problem with older sun screens was that they only blocked UVB rays. This didn't seem to be a problem since UVB rays were known to cause cancer. These days, it has been suggested that UVA rays also cause cancer, which would mean that older sun screen would not have been completely effective at preventing cancer. If you're going to bother with putting on sun screen every day, I'd suggest getting a kind that protects against UVB and UVA.
Oh, and unless you live in Antarctica, I wouldn't worry about ozone holes. Ozone depletion may be a problem, but not to the extent of THE ozone hole.

it is a good idea to wear at least spf 15 (UVA/UVB) even if its not sunny as UV is still present. whoever said sun creams can cause malignant melanoma is talking cr.ap- the slip slop slap campaign in australia has significantly reduced the incidents of melanomas.

Yes, because UVA rays from the sun are present all year round, and 80% of those rays can penetrate through cloud and damage your skin. HTH : )

yes, even if it's not a very sunny day, the UV rays can still do plenty of damage to your skin.

yes you should, UV rays get through cloud cover very easily. Infact it is widely known that you tend to burn on a cloudy day
