A woman can still get pregnant. That's also just a good way to give a girl a uteral/vaginal infection, and to pass disease! Besides, when I'm on my period, I'm crampy, achy, bloated. Plus, it's so sore down there that I have to sit with my legs apart sometimes, so there's no whay in HELL a penis is going up there! That girl would have to be a horn ball sex addict to actually want to and/or be willing to do it then! If you're concerned, do the smart, right and respectful thing, use a condom!

Well, I got my period on May 26th, 1993. I had not had sex with any man for over two years. My husband and I had sex for the first time on June 1st, 1993. And yes, it was unprotected, because we toiled under the delusion that one cannot get pregnant on her period. I was still on my period, when we had sex for the 1st time.
The next morning, when we were completely sober, we realize what a chance we took and spent the next month practicing birth control. We used condoms and spermacidal foam together.
Well, you guessed it. My next period never came. Our son was born almost exactly nine months to the day after we had that first unprotected incident, while I was having my period.
So yes, conception is possible if the woman has unprotected sex during her period.

A female can get pregnant on her period but who wants to have sex then. That is so nasty. It is a huge mess. Sperm can live in a woman up to 3 days. You don't know her cylcle so I would use a condom or another form of birth control.

A female can still get pregnant even during periods. The uterine wall may be breaking down but an unfertilized egg can still be in her system.

wrong... she can still get pregant.. sperm can stay active in a girls body for days. This is not a way to practice safe sex. Go read a book.
