When my current gf and i first started dating (were dating at 18) I told her I wasn't a virgin. (lied) She was my first. I finally let her know this (we are both 27) and at first all she did was blush. She said I totally blew her mind. I have noticed that she has been acting different toward me lately... what do you think she is thinking right now.. what would you think if a guy told you this?

If a guy told me that I would feel very special to know I was his first. I also would worry that he might want to go out and see what it is like with other women. Maybe that's why she is acting different because she's afraid of loosing you and you cheating on her. It might be a good Idea to ask her what's on her mind and if that's why she seems to be acting different towards you. You need to reassure her she is the only one you want. Something else might worry her. She might be afraid of you asking about her sexual past(if she has one) and is afraid you'll look differently at her. I really think it is so cool that you were still a virgin at 18 and stayed with your first lover all this time. You sound like a real wonderful guy who truly cares about your girl! Stay sweet!

2 things if I were her: First and formost, I would feel honored that I was your first and we've stayed this long. However, (here's the second part) I would be worried because what if you start wonder how another girl felt like.
Honestly, I think it's sweet and romantic. But you might want to tell her or rather, reasure her why things ended up the way they did. (ie: you were waiting for the right person, you respect women, didn't want to be a man whore).

I think that you are just probably a little insecure about the whole thing. I can't IMAGINE that something like that, which happened almost ten years ago, would cause anyone to act differently. It sounds like you two have been together a VERY long time, and there should be no reason for her to be anything, but flattered that she was your first.

How different has she been acting towards you? Better? Don't worry. It's a good sign. Personally, I will like it if my man has only been with me and no one else. And the fact that he lied nine years ago should not have any negative bearing on our relationship. Even if it does have any bearing, it is only for the better, which I gather is what you're experiencing now. :)

that would be totally cute, but in my eyes i would be really really shocked to take a guys virginity. maybe she feels like all you know is her now and that you may not truly love her because she is all you have ever known.
