Ok, here's the problem: I've recently started going out with this girl and she's really into public displays of affection....its like she wants to showcase our relationship to the whole world! I mean, I don't mind holding her hand and kissing her every now and again but sometimes I feel like she wants to jump me in public! LOL.....how can I break it down to her gently that I'm not comfortable with that sorta thing??

You lack self-confidence and you're uneasy showing affection towards others. Seems to me like its YOU that you need work on.

Sit her down and tell her straight that you like her a lot BUT that you are uncomfortable with that .. if she she gets mad and drops you then she does not really care for you, she just likes to "show you off" ..you don't need that. On the other hand if she is receptive to what you tell her your problem is solved...
