There is a guy I am seeing that has had an on and off again relationship with another girl and it bothers me and now they are just friends. I don't want to make the guy angry by telling him that it bothers me because I am jealous of her. I would always wonder I guess if he was with her behind my back. how can I explain this to him without making accusations?

Well perhaps tell him that your not sure that is over between them. If he says it is for sure then ask him how he knows "for sure" that it is over between them.

Little advice here .. once a guy has had a sexual relationship with a girl it's extrememly difficult to ever look at her as a normal friend again. I never could. Every time i see girls i used to be with out in public the first thing that came to mind would be some of the intimate moments we had.

I feel the same way .. I was born into a whole jewish household, and I don't really share the same beliefs about my religion as my whole family does. I'm an agnostic theist like you ( There is no proof there is a god, but there's also no proof that there's not a god) but I do believe there's something greater. Okay, well I think you should tell your mom you've been thinking about religion and you have a different idea from her. She might insist your being ignorant and an atheist ( some people don't know the difference) but tell her you've been giving it a lot of thought and this is what you want to be. no one can stop you from your own thoughts.

You need to tell him that it makes you uncomfortable that he still talks to somebody that he was once in a relationship with. If he is with you know then you shouldnt be worried about his past but dont let him tell you that they are just friends because they need to break off all ties and communication with one another.

Good relationships are based on trust and open communications. Seems you have a problem in these areas. I suggest you come out in the open. No use allowing it to fester and grow unnecessarily.

To be honest if there is no trust there now, there never will be. I totally understand where you are coming from and I think you can do a lot better for yourself!
